Of the many events at the Gala Dinner, one of the most anticipated
was the presentation of the Chairman's Gold Awards. In 2009 the OHI was fortuate to find two stellar
hospitality activists amongst the nominees who had earned this recognition.
The recipients this year were: Donna Dooher, Co-Owner and
Executive Chef, Mildred's Temple Kitchen and Michael Beckley, Senior Vice President, Lodging & Development,
Marriott Hotels & Resorts of Canada.
